Pleated

Pleated blinds offer a modern and contemporary look across all windows. With an unobtrusive ultra slim headrail profile and a clever concertina fabric design, they take up very little room. This is great for window recesses lacking depth or for those want to preserve as much of their view outside as possible when the blinds are fully raised.

Originally designed for conservatory windows to help with temperature reduction during the summer months, their popularity has grown over time. Now this blind solution is equally at home in lounges, bedrooms and office spaces to help reduce heat and glare from the sun especially for those rooms with south facing windows.

Please note we do not recommend for Pleated Blinds to be installed in areas where moisture is prevalent. All of our Pleated Blind fabrics are stiffened to allow them to keep their concertina like folds. Excessive humidity may cause issues with how the stiffened fabric performs over the longer term.

As you browse our Pleated range you will notice each fabric has a Sun Shade Factor (SSF). This number is worked out by looking at how much the fabric transmits, absorbs, and reflects solar energy. The higher the Sun Shade Factor number the greater protection the fabric will offer you from the sun, keeping your room cooler.
